Sculptural Table
Solid Walnut & Hand-Glazed Tamegrout
L 140 × W 90 × H 75 cm
The piece
A powerful dialogue between architectural rigor and raw material honesty. The structural volume, carved from solid walnut, provides an austere, monolithic foundation that honors the deep grain and tactile density of raw timber. Inlaid across the top is a continuous field of authentic Moroccan Tamegrout ceramics, bearing the nuanced emerald and moss-green variations born of ancestral artisanal alchemy. Liberated from domestic typology, this collectible piece commands the space through poetic tension, permanence, and refined contemporary minimalism.

Care
Dust regularly with a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth. The solid walnut structure is protected by a matte stabilizing coat; do not apply furniture waxes, natural oils, or silicone-based sprays, which will saturate and degrade the finish. For routine upkeep of both timber and ceramics, wipe gently along the natural wood grain using a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water, and dry immediately. Never use abrasive pads, chemical detergents, solvents, or acidic agents. Wipe liquid spills instantly to safeguard the mineral joints, glaze, and wood grain. Always use protective felt pads beneath decorative objects and never place hot items directly on the surface to prevent thermal shock. Strictly intended for indoor use in a climate-controlled space; avoid prolonged direct sunlight and proximity to radiators or fireplaces to prevent moisture loss, warping, or structural movement.

Tamegrout glaze
An abyss of greens, set in walnut.
The fire decided for each tile: a deeper green, a glint of gold, a pit, a frozen drip. None is perfect, none is the same.
Together they hold, the way a crowd stands. The light passes from one to the next and never settles twice in the same place.
Design
Fatallah Benaouidat
Franco-Moroccan designer
His pieces are not reproduced. They are handed down.
Fatallah Benaouidat draws in France. His pieces take shape in Morocco. Between the two shores, a conversation that has never fallen silent.
From modern art he keeps the line that is enough. From literature, the weight of every word. And from the houses of the land of his roots, a silence he slips into every piece, one that turns an object into a work.
Each drawing then travels to seven artisans, from one end of Morocco to the other, keepers of gestures older than he is. He gives the form. They give it weight, grain, light: what no drawing can do.
The artisans
Seven artisans, across Morocco.
Casarin works with a close circle of seven master artisans, each devoted to one material and one gesture. Lime, earth, glaze, wood, leather and glass: every piece passes through their hands, at their pace.
