Ribbed Ceramic Vessel
Amber Ochre Glaze
H 55 × Ø 40 cm
The piece
Handcrafted in dense terracotta clay, this substantial ceramic floor vessel features a tapering, ribbed silhouette defined by pronounced horizontal wheel-thrown ridges. The surface is coated in a luminous, high-gloss amber ochre glaze, revealing fine micro-crazing and natural iron-oxide speckling beneath its vitrified finish. Weighing 26 kg, its monumental proportions reference historical Mediterranean storage jars through a refined sculptural presence. Crafted in small studio batches, each firing produces unique glaze flow lines and warm tonal variations across the fluted tiers. Designed for floor placement, dry botanical branches, or as a standalone ceramic monument.

Design
A design by Fatallah Benaouidat, Franco-Moroccan designer. He draws in France; the piece takes shape in Morocco. From modern art he keeps the line that is enough; from the houses of the land of his roots, a silence that turns an object into a work.
His pieces are not reproduced. They are handed down.
Care
Substantial floor piece weighing 26 kg; unpack and maneuver carefully with two persons to prevent base chipping. Suitable for standalone floor display or dry architectural branches. While the ceramic is glazed, standing water tightness is not guaranteed; an internal waterproof liner is recommended if used with wet floral stems. To clean, wipe surface with a soft, clean cloth lightly dampened with warm water and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive pads, scourers, or chemical agents. Indoor dry use only.
